Davidson's Fort Historic Park

Davidson's Fort was once the western most outpost in Colonial America. The fort was originally constructed in 1776 with the assistance of troops provided by General Griffith Rutherford. Today, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization has constructed a replica of the historic fort to interpret the pioneer-era history of Old Fort and the surrounding area.  The fort is open the third Saturday each month between 9:00 am and noon, and for specially scheduled events.  Admission is by donation. Visit http://www.davidsonsforthistoricpark.com for more information.
