November 2, 2020 - What’s Happening?

November made a BIG entrance as remnants of Hurricane Zeta passed through. Zeta didn’t blow away everything! We still have color at our lower elevations and November offers ideal conditions for trail exploration.

A few ideas, for drivers take the Lake James Loop. The 2+/- hour drive offers a range of elevations, stunning photo ops, and landscapes. Crank up your favorite tunes and enjoy.

Hikers will see trails like this one at the Curtis Creek area of the Pisgah National Forest, outside Old Fort. Take the Newberry Creek Trail, Snook’s Nose, or the Huskins Branch Trail.

We have directional maps for these and other trails. Call with your request or provide your email address and we’ll share them right away.
