Fused Glass Lantern

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Arrowhead Gallery and Studios

Instructor Diane Enger. Use a variety of glasses to create four panels for a metal lantern, measuring 14” x 7”. Using a garden theme and a few guidelines concerning design and types of glass, everyone will be creating their own compositions. Your lantern will be a true “work of art” upon completion and will withstand the test of time. This class is for beginners and intermediates. You will gain a knowledge of types of glasses used in fusing, and the fusing process. If you are a novice, it is a great introduction to fusing. Most of the glass is pre-cut with just minimal adjusting needed. Tables and materials will be arranged for social distancing and masks are required. Bring a bag lunch and drink if possible. Cost is $50 for A3L members; $60 nonmembers and a $25 supplies fee. Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 6 students for social distancing.
