Carol Rifkin is a longtime member of the mountain music community and is a nationally known, award winning musician, singer and dancer. Tom Godleski is an award winning playwright and the leader of Asheville's premier bluegrass band—Buncombe Turnpike. Philip Arnold is the banjo picker for Split Rail, a band of musicians from upstate South Carolina. Together with Homegrown's Janet Wiseman, this group of Highland Highlights puts on an excellent show.
