In this watercolor workshop, learn the basics of painting front to back, leaving light shapes for a different and positive approach to your paintings. Learning to paint in the negative is fun and challenging. Bring the following: A watercolor palette or white ceramic dish (no designs); any watercolor brushes you have; kneaded eraser; work board 14" x 18" to tape paper down; fine mist spray bottle; Sherwin Williams-masking tape PLEASE NO PAINTERS TAPE!; Zip-Lock bag for plate or a palette cover; small box of Kleenex (non-scented); 2 shallow plastic water containers; old butter knife or old credit card; a flat kitchen sponge; your fun-filled attitude. Instructor will have extra paper to sell at cost if student wants to take some home! Bring a sack lunch. There is water, tea and coffee in the classroom.
