Opened in 2007, Marion's Tailgate Market has supplied regional residents with fresh produce, cheeses, meats and baked goods. The market is "grower certified" to bring customers products produced on local farms who endorse and practice sustainable production methods.
The market is located one block from the intersection of South Main Street and West Henderson Street. Hours are; May through December on Tuesdays between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm and between May and October on Saturdays between 9:00 am and noon.
