Old Fort is home to this state museum exhibiting mountain lifestyle and pioneer-era history from the earliest inhabitants to the twentieth century. Summer programs, festivals, and a variety of other activities are held here and at the outdoor, amphitheater on Mill Creek.
Exhibits include handmade musical instruments and artifacts used during the expansion of the railroad. Call before you visit, exhibits change frequently.
