Learn some basics of Plein Air painting, or painting outdoors, in this introductory workshop. Fundamentals offered include sketching in paint, simplifying shapes, mixing colors, creating value contrast, setting the horizon line, and basics on creating the illusion of distance. This is an outdoor workshop; walking will be required. Please bring lunch and a drink, plenty of water, bug spray, hat, sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing and a portable chair or standing easel. Cost is $40 for A3L members, $50 for non-members.
