Let's Get Cracking and Reacting Workshop with Diane Enger

Create a tile or dish using a cracking technique and working with reactive glass, making a background using shards of French Vanilla glass and a variety of turquoise glass to complete the design. French Vanilla and turquoise blue glasses have metal additives in their colors that create a reaction where the colors touch. Discuss color reactions and look at other combinations. This class is great for beginners as there is no glass cutting and for more experienced fusers to learn a new technique and look at the world of glass color reactions. The finished tile is a 6 x 6 tile or plate. Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 6. Cost is $30 for A3L members and $40 for non-members. A $15 material fee includes glass, tools, bails and firing.
