Handcrafted spirits using heirloom techniques and locally sourced ingredients, Copper Creek Distillery opened in 2021 and has been sharing its small batch "moonshine" varieties onsite and elsewhere.
The term moonshine describes the how and why of distilling corn liquor, illegally. The work was done under the cover of darkness, by the light of the moon.
Today's process produces that clear corn whiskey, without aging it, to create a new, legal form of moonshine. By reinventing the taste and reputation of "shine" mixologists are carefully crafting new cocktails and experiences. Copper Creek offers a variety of flavors, and they're perfecting their own brandy. Stop by for a tasting, and take home a piece of history.
