Historic Marion Depot
The Marion Depot has been restored and functions today as a multiple-purpose site. Constructed in the 1860s, it is the oldest surviving depot on the western rail line. Outside, you'll see this striking piece of history where Marion's Mayor Steve Little sometimes hosts special public announcements.
The train depot may be rented for private events. Click here to contact the City of Marion for details. http://marionnc.org/Marion/pages/FacilityRentals.html Call 828-652-3351.
